Front man, writer, data drudge. I have been many things – newspaper reporter, writer, photographer, editor; advertising agent; foundry man; and tennis pro among others – each with a measure of success. Raised in a musical family, I played all the valve horns through high school, sang in choirs and as soloist, and fiddle (not literally) with some other instruments. My interests are quite eclectic, favoring classical and rock. I can’t dance a lick (nickname: The Stiff).

Scot Nery

Inspiration/goad, computer genius, graphic designer. Scot came up with the name (JamBrain) and designed the logo, does all the computer magic, and is teaching this old dog to not skin my knuckles when working on the computer. He has been supporting himself as a juggler for most of a decade, and is now working in L.A. doing stand-up comedy, acting in movies and TV, and doing high-end web designs. Girlfriend, business woman, muse. A life-long artist, Shari started her own business doing decorative painting 10 years ago and has brightened hundreds of homes and businesses in the tri-county area with her unique creations. WHY WE’RE HERE

Frustrated with not being able to find a band we wanted to hear on Saturday night, we thought, Why don’t we put on a musical? Oh, no, that was Mickey Rooney. But a website with immediate access to all the information about area performers and venues with special features for fans seemed the solution. And if we do this right, maybe we can influence and encourage the whole culture of live music and we’ll have even more places to go and performers to hear.
